lne.es 05/11/2007. The Aviles factory of Alcoa will reach this year the historical maximum in production, around 145.000 Tons of aluminium, thanks to the improvements in the tanks where the alumina pass an electrolitic process to be converted in pure aluminium.

De forecast is increase more this production to reach the 150.000 Tons at the end of 2008, at the same time that investiments finish. The investiment was 52 millions of dollars (around 37 millions of euros). This make this factory arrive the best conpetitive position.
