Rio Tinto throw an Offer over Alcan with a price of 27.700 millions of Euros

The Mining company Rio Tinto has thrown a "friendly" offer over Canadian Aluminium Company Alcan with a price of 38.100 millions of Dollars (27.700 millions of Euros) in cash, informed today the company.

The conditions of the offer would make a new company called Rio Tinto Alcan. Rio Tinto will pay 101 dollars for each of the shares of Alcan.
