Rising of aluminium prices because of China earthquake

16/05/2008, REUTERS.- The prices of aluminium and zinc increased last friday in Europe because of growing fear about the suply from China and worries about the infraestructures in the Sichuan region after the last week earthquake.

The copper followed the aluminium, but with limitations because of the expectation of decrase in the consuption in China. The red metal closed at 8.420 dollars per ton, opposite to the 8.296 dollars closed at thursday.
