Hydro continues expansion in Spain with the purchase of Alumafel

09/05/2008, EUROPA PRESS.- The Norwegian group Hydro, European leader in aluminium profile production, has reached an agreement of purchase of the Spanish company Alumafel, which has solutions for the building sector and industry, by 77 millions of Euros.
The purchase of Alumafel is a part of the expasion of Hydro in Spain, including also the adquisition of the extrusion company Expral by 31 millions of Euros. Hydro will have a staff of 1200 people in Spain.
